Town of High Prairie deputy mayor Debbie Rose, with gloves on in center, cuts the barbed wire to officially open Peavey Mart at 7:15 a.m. Oct. 21 accompanied by store staff. The event kicked off a three-day grand opening celebration. At the left is district manager Trent Hamilton; at the right is store manager Kevin Stock. “Everyone is excited to see you guys here,” said Rose after cutting the wire. “It’s fabulous to see you here.” Hamilton says the store is proceeding well. “We’ve made a lot of friends here in the short two weeks,” he said. Rose also received the first of 100 roses given to the first 100 ladies to attend the grand opening.
